Support Rob Brown
Rob was born and lives in Manchester. He graduated in Politics and Economics from the University of York and whilst a student, campaigned for Vince Cable in the York constituency.
He worked in senior roles for global advertising agencies Havas, McCann Erickson and TBWA before launching PR and digital communications agency Rule 5 in 2012. He has taken part in communications reviews for the Cabinet Office and was co-opted onto the Government Communications Services Digital Futures Council in 2016 and 2017. He is the author of the best-selling 'Public Relations and the Social Web' (Kogan Page) and has contributed to numerous other books and spoken at conferences in Europe, Asia and Africa. He was president of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in 2016.
In November 2018 Rob's patience with our political leaders, and their insistence on putting party and politics before people and country, reached breaking point. He decide to stop just tweeting and do something. That day he joined The Renew Party and joined the fightback to reject the lies, reform politics and reboot Britain.
