Why get active in politics now?
"Brexit is the defining political issue of this country now and going forward. I feel very strongly that Britain is best served by membership of the European Union, and that the best future for the youth of this great nation is to be inclusive and engaged, not isolationist and withdrawn. I feel the mainstream political parties are lurching from crisis to crisis and have lost the confidence of not only myself but the British public. They are divided by Brexit and the country is yearning for new leadership and a progressive, modern party that can fix the sins of the past."
