August Round Up

We have now launched our brand new website, completing our re-brand from Renew Britain to the Renew Party. Please check out our new website on this link.

We held a campaigning event on the Southbank in London, with some of our potential parliamentary candidates and  members. The campaigning event was a great success with lots of engagement with the public.

We have been continuing our Summer of Action making stops in Leeds, Bristol and Edinburgh. Great discussions were had around various policy area, including: prison reform, mental health and education. We will be hosting more of these events throughout the country, locations shown below.

Boris Johnson must apologise or May should remove the Tory party whip

An offensive and Islamophobic article by Boris Johnson was published in the Daily Telegraph in which Johnson ridiculed Muslim women, comparing their appearance to 'bank robbers' and saying they looked 'like letterboxes'.

Renew successfully launched a petition on demanding an apology from Mr Johnson, and if he was to continue to refuse to do so, then for Theresa May to remove the Conservative Party whip from him and take steps to suspend him from serving as a Member of Parliament. The petition currently stands at over 3,500 signatures.
